REIKI
for Animals

REIKI (say: ray-kee) is a ancient form of energy therapy used by Tibetan monks, that was rediscovered by Dr. Mikao Usui in the late 1800's on Mt. Kurama in Japan. REIKI is used globally today in veterinary clinics, hospitals, nursing homes, hospices and private practices to prepare animals and people in stages of surgery, recovery and rehabilitation and assist with stress relief and trauma.

A REIKI session involves a REIKI practitioner using either a gentle touch or sending REIKI from a distance to calm and relax your pet before or after a medical treatment or surgery. REIKI is a complimentary therapy to traditional veterinary medicine that creates a sense of well being which assists your pet's ability to heal her/himself naturally.

Meadowlands Veterinary Center is now offering:

REIKI Treatments on Tuesdays
Cost: $30:00 for one half hour
    $60:00 for one hour
