Emergency & Urgent Care
Emergencies are accepted anytime our clinic is open. If you feel you have an emergency with your pet, please call us or come to the hospital immediately. If possible it is best to call before coming in so that a staff member can advise you on your particular emergency.
We have a veterinarian and personnel on duty 6 days a week who are trained and equipped to handle any urgent care your pet has. Usually an emergency team consists of at least one veterinarian and several technicians working together to save a pet's life. Emergencies can be things such a snail bait poisoning, hit by car, and chocolate ingestion. If you ever feel that your pet needs emergency treatment do not hesitate to call or come in immediately. If possible it is best to call before coming in so that a team member can advise you on your particular emergency.
We are also available for urgent care when the condition is not life-threatening, but you feel your pet needs to be seen before you are able to get an appointment. Our veterinarians will work to "squeeze" you in between scheduled appointments. When you arrive, our receptionists will be able to give you an estimate on how long you may have to wait in order to be seen.

AVID Microchipping: Microchipping your pet is a safe way to have permanent identification for you pet incase he/she gets lost. We also can stray pets to see if they are chipped.
Radiology Services: We provide in house, modern X-ray equipment that makes us capable to provide high quality radiographs to help with the diagnosis of many disorders.
Ultrasound: Ultrasound gives us an immediate look at your pet’s organs, blood flow and make up that you cannot see on radiographs alone. We also provide echocardiograms for our cardiac patients.
Laser Therapy: Laser therapy is the latest technology designed to give your pet fast pain relief and improve healing times. Benefits include shorter treatments, quicker recovery, drug free therapy when possible, non-invasive technology and free of any side effects. There are therapy protocols for back, hip pain, arthritis, ligament and tendon problems, rehabilitation, wound care and post surgical healing.
Specialty Referrals: We maintain a referral practice seeing many complex cases including orthopedics, laparscopic procedures, ultrasound, dermatology, and endoscopy to name a few.
Surgical Services: We offer a wide variety of surgical procedures including laparoscopic, orthopedic, exploratory, and radio surgery.
Anesthesia: We use the safest available anesthetics to provide ultimate safety, especially for our senior or high-risk patients. Ventilators are used and the pets’ vital signs are monitored from time of induction until they are in recovery.
Dentistry: Our dental services include teeth scaling and polishing, fluoride treatments, dental X-rays, and tooth extractions when needed.
Laparoscopy: Many procedures that once required a large abdominal incision can now be done using minimally invasive laparoscopy. Entire procedures can be performed through one or two tiny incisions using surgical telescopes and special video equipment that provides a full sized color image. This results in much less pain and a quicker recovery.
Endoscopy: Endoscopy serves many purposes in veterinary medicine. From foreign object retrieval to biopsy, endoscopy often eliminates the need for surgery and allows us to view the inside with minimal risk or discomfort.
Cryotherapy: Cryotherapy is used for treatment of minor skin irregularities. It destroys the function of cellular tissue while fibrous structures remain intact. The use of cryosurgery is now established in almost every major medical specialty due to its excellent healing properties, high degree of patient acceptance, and the relatively painless treatment it offers. The CryoProbe is designed for the treatment of skin injuries in skin care specialist, hospital outpatient and family doctor practices and now in the veterinary field. The instrument was named the most important discovery in cryotherapy in the last decade. Can be used for the treatment of warts, cysts and skin tags just to name a few.
