Lucky
One of our clients found a very friendly black and white cat last Sunday, December 21st, in Tremont. It was very cold and very, very windy. To keep her from freezing to death that night, they took her to a family members where she is currently being fostered!
Neither of them can keep her – due to already having a number of pets. So, they are looking for a good home for Lucky, so named because she was lucky to be found by them that night and because they found her at Lucky’s Café!
She is an extremely friendly cat. She “talks” a lot!! She loves to be with people and likes to be petted, especially on her neck and on her belly when she is really relaxed. She is great with kids. She is not aggressive toward other animals, but needs to have some time to adjust to them and her new surroundings. In a house with other pets, she may need an initial space of her own, as is recommended when introducing new cats to a household.
She has been examined by a vet, who estimates her age to be between 2 and 4 years old. She is very healthy. She has been tested for feline leukemia (FELV) and immunodeficiency virus (FIV) and has neither. She has been vaccinated for distemper (FVRCP) (she will need a booster shot mid-January) and rabies. She has not been spayed.
She is a wonderful cat and will make someone a very good companion.
