Standard annual canine heartworm testing has been replaced with a more comprehensive 4x test that includes the four major vector born diseases we see in this area. Heartworm and lymes are two you probably recognize and ehrlichia and anaplasmosis are the other two that most people are unaware of. These diseases are passed by the bites of ticks, fleas and mosquitoes, and some are contagious to people. This new test protocol expands the saftey for both your pet and your self.

Feline Heartworm Testing

Feline heartworm testing now includes feline leukemia and feline immunodeficiency (AIDS) testing. Approximately 5% of the cat population is infected with one of these diseases.
