Kelly Knapp - OSU vet student

Hi, my name is Kelly. I graduated with honors and was initiated as a member of Phi Beta Kappa from the College of Wooster in 2008 with a BA in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. I am currently a 3rd year veterinary student at The Ohio State University's College of Veterinary Medicine. On top of my core courses, I am taking electives in small animal surgery and orthopedics, cardiology, and neurology. I am also a member and the fundraising chair of Omega Tau Sigma, the professional veterinary fraternity at OSU. I have been interning with Doctor Slobody for 7 years now, and although the majority of my time is spent in Columbus whenever I return home to Cleveland you can find me at Meadowlands. I currently have 2 Siamese cats named "Simon Says" and "Toby" that keep me company in Columbus. I was raised surrounded by family pets and therefore have always had a passion for animals. I couldn't be happier right now learning about what I love and am looking forward to caring for your pets!

Mallory Preyss - Manager

Hi, my name is Mallory. I came to Meadowlands Veterinary Center from a previous clinic. I have worked at the emergency pet hospital and have been in this field for three years. I am an AAHA certified veterinary recepionist. I previously worked at a hair salon as a hairstylist and make up artist, but my love for working with animals is what makes me happy. Over the years I have owned many pets from chinchillas, gerbils, hamsters, hermit crabs, fish, ducks, cats, and dogs. I currently have a puggle named "Bella" and two cats "Mikey" and "Zoey." I hope to meet you and your pet someday!

Kari Dannemiller - Veterinary Assistant

Hello, my name is Kari. I grew up on a small farm and participated in 4-H for over 5 years. I have always been surrounded by all types of large farm animals and pets during my entire life. I started showing AKC conformation, earthdog trials, and breeding my mini dachshund 9 years ago. I have 3 champions at this time in the smooth and wirehair coats variety. I might only have 1 to 2 litters a year, but you can call Meadowlands to check in and see if and when puppies will be available. I have such a great love for animals I decided to go into the veterinary field. I graduated from Lakeland Community College Veterinary Assistant program, and I'm looking forward to continuing my education to become a Registered Veterinary Technician with Dr. Slobody as my mentor.
